Prepare the Shrimp: Ensure the shrimp is peeled and deveined. Pat them dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
.Season the Shrimp: In a bowl, season the shrimp with the salt, pepper, oregano, thyme, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Mix well until all of the seasonings are well combined.
.Prepare the sauce: In a large skillet or pan, add 1 tbsp of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add 1 tbsp of butter. Add in the onions, and the garlic.
Deglaze the pan: Deglaze the pan with the chicken broth. Add in the sundried tomatoes, and the heavy cream. Stir and add in the parmesan cheese. Allow the cheese to melt. Add in the salt, chili flakes, and the Italian seasoning. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.
.Cook the shrimp: In a separate pan, add in 2 tbsp of oil, and 2 tbsp of butter. Let the butter melt. Add the seasoned shrimp to the pan and allow it to cook 4-6 minutes until the shrimp is opaque.
Combine the Ingredients: Pour the prepared sauce over the cooked shrimp.
Simmer: Simmer the shrimp in the sauce for about 10-15 minutes. Until the sauce thickens.
.Garnish: Sprinkle the Marry Me shrimp with chopped fresh parsley or basil over the top of the shrimp and sauce.
