Preheat your air fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Preheating ensures even cooking and crispiness.
Prepare the garlic parmesan sauce: In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant. Add in the fresh parsley, the crushed red pepper, and the salt.
Prepare the Chicken Wings: Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. This helps remove any excess moisture, which can interfere with crispiness.
Season the Wings: Pour the olive oil over the wings evenly, and season the wings with the salt, pepper, paprika and, garlic powder. You can also add other seasonings or spices to taste.
Air Fry the Wings: Lightly coat the air fryer basket with cooking spray or oil. Place the wings in the basket in a single layer, leaving some space between them. Air fry for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking.
Check for Doneness: The wings are done when they are golden brown and crispy on the outside, and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Use a meat thermometer to check the temperature, especially if you’re unsure.
Coat Chicken Wings: Once the wings are cooked through, transfer them to a dish. Brush the garlic parmesan sauce over the wings until they are evenly coated. Use enough sauce to cover the wings thoroughly. Add the fresh parmesan cheese on top of the wings.
Serve Hot: Serve them hot with celery sticks, carrot sticks, and your favorite dipping sauce, such as blue cheese or ranch dressing.
