  • 12 Large Lettuce leaves
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 tsp Crushed red pepper
  • 1 Medium Red onion
  • 1 Medium Tomato
  • 8 Slices Muenster cheese or your favorite cheese
  • 4 Slices Bacon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to around 370°F (187.7°C). This helps ensure even cooking.
  • Prepare the Chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel. This helps the skin or coating adhere better and may give the chicken a crispier texture.
  • Season the Chicken: Pour the olive oil onto the chicken breasts and massage into the chicken breasts. Mix your seasonings into a small cup or bowl. Season the chicken on both sides. You can also marinate the chicken beforehand for added flavor.
  • Arrange in the Air Fryer Basket: Place the seasoned chicken breasts in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding to allow proper air circulation.
  • Cook in the Air Fryer: Cook the chicken at 370°F (187.7C) for approximately 8-10 minutes. The exact time may vary based on the thickness of the chicken breasts and the specific air fryer model.
  • Flip the Chicken: About halfway through the cooking time, flip the chicken breasts to ensure even cooking on both sides. Cook for an additional 6-8 minutes. Check the chicken for doneness. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. The chicken should reach at least 165°F (74°C) to be considered safe to eat.
  • Prepare lettuce leaves: Wash and dry the lettuce leaves. Arrange 3 to 4 lettuce leaves on a sheet of parchment paper horizontally.
  • Make the wrap: Spread a layer of Mayonnaise on the leaves. Add two pieces of cheese, place the chicken breast on top of the cheese. Add a strip of bacon, some tomatoes, and onions. Add any of your favorite toppings.
  • Roll the Wrap: Starting from the bottom edge of the lettuce leaf (the edge closest to you), tightly roll it up, enclosing the filling as you go. Use your fingers to gently press down on the filling to ensure a tight roll. Grasp the parchment paper and roll in the opposite direction. Twist the ends of the parchment paper to seal the wrap. Cut the wrap in half or keep whole.
  • Serve: Arrange the lettuce wraps on a serving platter and serve them immediately. You can serve them whole or cut them in half diagonally for easier eating.
